How Bob Ross’s Painting Taught Me to See the Hidden Things of God

BobRossPower

I am grateful that God reveals even more to his people:

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened. (Isaiah 35:5.)

The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26.)

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. (1 Corinthians 2:13.)

  1. Pastor Bob says:

There are those within the community of faith who have this ability. The life is a blank canvas, some of us will see a few things, others will ad to this, and others may help cover or remove problems (errors).

    so one person sharpens another.

The relationship we have with one another allows all of us to gain and learn together, PB. Thanks for adding your insights on how this works in the Body of Christ.

  2. ‘The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.’

I find this gives me the chance to put things in perspective, even the very worst things. Thank you, Jesus.

Me too, sfk. The Holy Spirit enables us to live out Hebrews 12:1-2 where we are told that keeping our focus on Jesus is what moves us along in life. It’s like the Spirit says, “Keep looking at Jesus, remember to keep looking at Jesus.”
