Text (c) Tim Fall
Was just recently talking with my writing group members about this very thing: avoiding writing! We see ourselves as writers, yet sometimes we’d rather do anything but write. I wonder why that is!
We fool ourselves into thinking the writing will take care of itself. Just like housework.
Chop down trees, recycle, look for loose change, stare at the wall….
It’s my 7th Nanowrimo…I’m getting creative now. Just not with writing.
Wall staring is my speciality.
Ha! I just did half an hour exercise and decided to “quickly” look at WordPress. Things I don’t rush to do most of the time.
But time so well spent!
I can’t argue with that!
