About

If you want to know what this blog is about, try this short post: What On Earth Is This Blog About!

If you want to know what this blog’s host is about, read on:

Tim is a California native who changed his major three times, colleges four times, and took six years to get a Bachelor’s degree in a subject he’s never been called on to use professionally. Married for 29 years with two kids (both graduated, woo-hoo!) his family is constant evidence of God’s abundant blessings in his life. He and his wife live in Northern California.

Tim does not normally talk about himself in the third person.

Lol . . . neither does William. I found you through The Wartburg Watch, and am grateful. God bless.

I so relate to this quote! Found you from TWW. Looking forward to reading more.

I saw your Saturday Quotable. Are you in CowTown? I used to be stationed at Travis and came over that way often (usually to Skandia). This was just over 2 decades ago, though.

I’m enjoying your blog, both the humor and your take on things. I look forward to more!

We’re not in Vacaville, but somewhat close by. Skandia down in Fairfield is a kick, isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by the blog, Mark.

Tim, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your blog. I am passing on the Liebster Award to you. It is up to you if you want to participate, of course, but either way I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate what you share in your writing. You can see more about the Liebster on my today’s post at coming2him.wordpress.com.

  5. Tim, finally wandered over to your “About” page. I’m also a California native, but have since lived in Portland, OR, New Zealand and currently in Idaho. I grew up in the *cough*cough* Greater *cough* LA area and made my escape to UC Santa Cruz. My husband and I met while attending UCSC. Go slugs! …or not, ha!

    • Tim says:

LA? My mom grew up in Eagle Rock and my son went to APU for a year. I also once wrote a song about banana slugs. Very catchy tune, all about picking them up and licking them.

  6. Eagle Rock… we’re practically neighbors! I grew up in La Crescenta.

APU, APU, *racks brain* “No results found”

    Licking banana slugs? Gross!!

I love your blog! I am a contributor to A Cry For Justice and help run a non-profit called “Give Her Wings” to help single mothers who have left abusive marriages. Following and enjoying!

  9. So glad you do not usually talk (or write) about yourself in the third person. About pages seem well-suited to a third person narrative, though.

  10. I’m a friend of Susy Flory, who sent me over. Enjoyable reading! Thanks!
