Comment Clues

The clue to good commenting on this blog:

“Hey, hey, hey, hey-now. Don’t be mean; we don’t have to be mean, cuz, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.”

Buckaroo Banzai

It’s as simple as that. Now go out there and comment! Yay!

P.S. Here are some more of my thoughts on comments, originally written in regards to my Facebook page but just as applicable here:

I appreciate comments on posts, and am always learning from people who make the time to engage. Thank you.

Occasionally I delete a comment, though. I delete off topic comments, comments that degrade people, political comments, argumentative comments, or just comments that leave me feeling something is off.

My page, my decision. I’m the one who has to live with what is left posted on it, even if I didn’t write it.

The goal is a place where everyone is welcome, as if you were all hanging out in my back yard. But it’s my yard, and I keep that in mind.

  3. I think I followed you just cause you quoted Buckaroo Banzai. So few people appreciate him. I saw you over on Amiee Byrd’s blog and decided to see who you were since you’re always commenting over there. And here I am! 🙂 I look forward to reading your posts.

We also had a Mode o’Day! Tim, your tribute to your dad was something else. Thanks.
